Our institute also provides laboratory services for external senders with the specialization mainly in the care of hospitals. The spectrum so far includes more than ten hospitals of all care levels, as well as specialized clinics and rehabilitation facilities.
Diagnostics includes the performance of examinations of the entire direct (bacteriology, mycology, parasitology, virology) and indirect (serology) infection diagnostics with a university service spectrum. It is also possible to focus on defined sub-areas of diagnostics.
Within the scope of medical care, we naturally answer questions regarding indication, collection technique, sample transport and therapy of even complex infectiological cases. Digital laboratory requisition is possible via an order entry system.
For clinically active colleagues, there is the possibility of individual care with fixed contact persons and comprehensive advice on the rational use of anti-infectives (ABS - Antibiotic Stewardship).
For optimal care, a medical emergency service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
